Very soon...

I will be moving into my very own home. Can you feel it? Can you feel the energy and excitement? I sure can! And so can my stomach! The stress (the good kind, luckily) is SO getting to me. Making my tummy do all sorts of nasty, unpredictable things. It's the pits. But otherwise, things are going awesome. I still have some minimal packing to do...but mostly I'm ready. I've been ready...for a year.

Everything is taken care of and falling into place. It's amazing. I've called the utilities and had everything set up in our names and to start running on today, even though we won't be there at the house until Tuesday. The lease has been read, no surprises and no WTF moments. I will sign the lease that Joe has when he gets here, and then scan it and email it to the landlord.

The best part was that I found out we do indeed get to keep the washer and dryer in the house! PHEW! Such a relief. I cannot believe I can be a laundry-doin'-mama from now on in my own home, every day if I want to! No more nasty, overflowing hampers because I'm too lazy or cold to walk down the street to the crappy wash rooms provided by crappy apartments. AAAHHH! (this is me, doing a happy dance. Can you tell?)

This weekend is going to be so very busy, so I'm enjoying the calm before the storm. I know that, for instance, after Friday I won't be playing much Wii, DS, or surfing the internet anyhow except with my phone. I've played Avalon Code like it's going out of style, and getting all my Animal Crossing time in. I have already packed my closest friends (magazines!) so I can't read those right now. It's madness, I tell you!

SO here's the schedule:

Tomorrow: call the DMV. Go to the DMV. Go to Walmart for more night time pull-ups for E.
Friday: babysit for sister-in-law. Joe gets here late that night. Much loving and kissing and hugging.
Saturday: Packing. Go see Harry Potter. Going away party with sister-in-law and Joe's family.
Sunday: Packing. Spending time with my family. Packing the cars.
Monday: LEAVE for the NEW HOUSE! Preferably really early so we get there while it's still daylight!
Tuesday: Wake up early. Pick up Budget truck. Go to storage unit and get assloads of boxes out to take to house so we can then get to all the furniture. Amy and Hailey are coming to help. Send big men to storage unit to pack furniture onto truck. Unload truck. Loads and loads of furniture placement. Make sure Mom, Grandma, and Barb get there safely. They will be with us the rest of the week helping us move in.

The rest is yet to come, friends! I will be so much more BLOGGY once in my own home and controlling more of my own life. It will be fabulous. I am planning on so many things. More scrapbooking (since I haven't done anything since Christmas that won't be hard, and I have TONS of catching up to do), more photography, more cooking, more everything.

More everything.
